FOs: Facebook PDA - yea or nay?

These Facebook example posts are pure beta. Beta builds comfort and security. Alpha builds attraction.

Therefore if these guys are laid like tile rock stars, CEOs, pirates or any other type who trends towards over the top assholery then this would be helpful to his relationship. (beta mix is needed for LTR).

More likely the average guy is going off common advice found everywhere (Love Languages, etc) to go all out beta to improve things. Therefore his response is... you're such a nice hubby VCLANG.

I also like to post pictures of me shooting guns, blowing stuff up, and doing manly things, and tag my wife in them... so any potential orbiters on her friend list realize the stakes are high.

To me, FB is kind of girly, anyway.

I'll congratulate my wife on FB for infrequent achievements such as doing well at a martial arts grading or getting a new job as well as how proud I am of having her as my wife on anniversaries - we've been together for nearly 25 years, way longer than any of my friends and peers, and a bit of showing off every now and then doesn't hurt - she responds really well when I do, so I think the frequency is spot on. 

I'll also mercilessly rip the shit out her and challenge her posts on a regular basis - that also goes down well!

Having friends and family all over the world, FB is great for keeping in touch and seeing what they're up to. I'm also involved with FB in a professional manner, so it's kinda expected that I'm on there regularly.

I like the occasional fb pda as an affirmation of coupledom.

What I can't stand is women who post only about their kids, ignoring their husbands, or who say on fb how much more they love their kids than their husbands. Yes, I actually saw someone say this. X(

I get more annoyed by the people that are always posting negative crap.  I have a cousin that is always posting about how he's getting allergies again, or how he's annoyed with his coworkers not refilling the coffee pot or bugging him with their computer problems (and he's the IT guy).
