Well since you own the computer, no worries, right?
The code behind the scenes is constantly being worked on. Vanilla hosts a ton of forums, not just this one. And somewhere along the way they changed that dimple cut and paste pics and vids right into the comment box. I haven't been able to link a picture from my Photobucket account since, but all my old pics linked there are still working.
The bottom line is, the comment box already has html code in it, and when you paste stuff into it that has more code, sometimes they butt heads. So you need to be in the html window to post html code.
You get there by clicking the icon shown below.
The window changes to yellow, and all the other format buttons are greyed out.

@generalzod now you forced me to share a picture of my favorite sign ever, which was from a roadside stand on a trip about 8 years ago to the North Fork of *THE* island... It's just.so. very.New Yorker...
I now have new-found respect for Angry Balls...aka Angry Orchard with Fireball in it. We made these batch style, as shooters. I kept a heavy pour until you could taste the cinnamon from the Fireball. In retrospect, that was a mistake...

It's almost time for the Christmas music to start playing on the radio. Somebody kill me now. Please.
There used to be a record store in the mall that used to play The Vandals, The Clash, and The Sex Pistols in a loop all Christmas season. They were a island of sanity in a sea of Bing Crosby and madness.
All men are great men, most fail to see the greatness in themselves.

Throw in some Black Flag and Minutemen and I'd have never left the store...

Fate favors the prepared.
Until I was ten, I thought my name was Jesus Christ. And my brother Russell thought his name was Dammit.
Dammit, don't touch that!
Jesus Christ, will you stop that!
So, one day I'm playing in the rain and my dad yells "Dammit, get in here" and I'm like "But Dad, I'm Jesus Christ."
