While trying to keep things in the other thread private, I will say that there are infidelity issues, and then there are INFIDELITY ISSUES WRIT LARGE™.
I firmly stand behind my advice in the other thread.
If a mutual fund has a 20 year history of horrible performance, and the same manager is at the helm, investing in that fund expecting some miraculous transformation by the manager is a huge mistake. Even more so if you are investing your kids' money along with your own.
This is what you are doing here. It isn't just you. Your kids are involved, and you are not modeling good relationship behavior for them in this situation. Not at all.
It is cold-blooded, but in my sincere opinion, the best thing you could do is get what you need from her for the custody issue and then move on.

@DireWolf -- I agree with the advice you have been getting here. I'd have already grabbed the ejection handle and punched out, but I've already ran a successful MAP.
You blew it on the friend issue. You told her to make her choice and she did, but she didn't chose you.
MAP like your hair is on fire. It will help you in life, help you be a better father and help you with your divorce.
Your time here has only just begun. Time to get work done.
Put back on course via a 'One Hour Call' with Athol. Seriously worth 10 times the cost, but don't tell him that....

But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
