1000's of texts would indicate she is very much invested in the extramarital relationship physical or otherwise.  This appears standard script and consistent with Athols books.  Are you of the opinion that a physical affair and an emotional affair are significantly different in degrees of "betrayal"    Read Not Just Friends and consider the strong desires women have for emotional connection.  This show is clearly no good and you must really decide what you want.  I don't think there is going to be a lot of joy behind blowing up this thing, there will be real work (MAP) to put yourself in a better, more attractive place.
