Got Suggestions for Sexy TV/Movies/Erotica?

Wife's had success getting revved up by steamy romance novels. She told me today she'd like to try some sexy audio/video media that we can watch together, and left it to me to find it. I'd like to get some suggestions on some sexy TV shows or movies, or other non-pornographic videos we check out. I'd especially like suggestions from FOs on stuff they've found arousing. 

Limitations: No porn; preferably not too much gratuitous nudity (i.e., skinemax-type soft-core porn may be a bit too much)

I can tell you something to absolutely avoid:  the '50 Shades of Grey' movie.   I've seen PG movies hotter.  I wanted my pay-per-view $7.50 and 2 hours and 9 minutes of my life back.

Just as well. W liked 50 Shades (resulted in a few nice sessions), but said she has no interest in seeing the movie.

Ok. So, let me be the first to say -- you basically just asked every woman on the forums what their brand of attraction is. Because that's what'll drive their answers. Instead, tell us what your wife's highest brands are. Then we can match shows to her brands.

@Husband3point0, that's somewhat difficult for me to answer. It can't be as simple as "where can I find some steamy but non-pornographic sex scenes?"  It's hard for me to nail this down in terms of Athol's 6 brands of attraction, if that's what you're getting at, but here's my best shot at answering your question.

From what I can tell, the men in the books she's read that got her real turned on were unrealistically handsome, ripped billionaires who dressed impeccably, smelled great, had rock-solid frame (which was only surpassed by the passion they had for the heroine), and were pretty much the most alpha dudes in the universe (Lisa Kleypas; 50 Shades). From what I can tell. The man's passion and desire for the woman seems to be a big element.

Famous men she's attracted to - country musician Jake Owen, Bradley Cooper, Matthew McConaughey, the character Harvey Specter from Suits. In fact, Suits with lots of sex would probably be just right. 

Flavors of sex - W prefers somewhat rough (maybe 6 on 1-10 scale), or at least not soft (hates sensual). Doesn't seem to have any taboo in her. At times when turned on she would take control (somewhat dominant), but I think she would prefer to be more submissive (but due to past assault can't relinquish control or let go). Not responsive at all, that I can tell.

[For more context re why I started this thread, yesterday W was listening to a podcast about whether it's ok for Christians to view erotic videos (short of even softcore porn) as a way to enhance marital sexy time. W told me she thinks she'd like that, and asked me to find some material to watch together. The internet's full of hardcore porn; I've been looking and can't even find softcore porn, much less stuff that would be more R-rated than NC17 to X rated. That's why I asked for TV show or movie suggestions. We don't ever really watch R-rated stuff, so I'm rather unfamiliar with what might fit the bill.]

I'll just move along to say, I think women are different then men when it comes to porno - stop thinking external visuals will turn her on. Looks do not matter as much to women as knowing a man is confident in himself and that's what all those romance novels are all about.

She liked 50 Shades of Grey when she read it but doesn't want to watch the move? I can see that - reading allows me to control the fantasy better. At best, watching porn just tends to make me feel inadequate...

Try reading to her, or, look for some erotic kinky books read by a male with a deep sexy voice.

You want sexy, softcore erotic stuff but don't want Cinemax series? Seems like a contradiction.

I know a lot of people think Game of Thrones is sexy. Personally I couldn't get into it. I'm not into the medieval fantasy stuff and neither is my wife.

Banshee has a lot of what she says she likes: hot male lead, passionate and a bit rough sex but it also has some pretty extreme violence (to the point of being almost comical).

Californication has David Duchovny and lots of sex but is very tongue-in-cheek and he is a serial fornicator which probably won't go well with her Christian values.

That's all I've got. I'm not sure what you seek exists.

Best I could manage was clips of sex scenes from movies. Surprisingly, YouTube has a lot, including the nudity (didn't know YouTube allows nudity). So on YouTube I put together a playlist of movie sex scenes and watched some of it with W the other night. We both learned something new - W gets turned on by boobs. Hey, that makes two of us! I also learned from her feedback what kind of content she likes and what she dislikes.  

I don't think this will be a regular thing for us, rather something to deploy on occasion.
