So how is the physical part of your MAP/FAP going?
I had a setback about a month ago and stopped working out, which magically caused me to get past my silly plateau. Go figure.
I recently got a membership to a gym so I could get out of the house to work out. Because I think part of my problem was being in the house. Too much temptation to sit in the couch and read the forum, or finish the laundry that I started earlier, or go to sleep early because I'm tiiiiired....
I upped the weights I'm using based in various advice from here and my blog, and I'm kind of amazed that I can lift/press that much. And OMG, my triceps hurt.

Today, at my box, we're doing deadlift 1 rep max. I'm hoping to pull at least 365-370 lbs--not bad for a guy who turns 50 tomorrow and only weighs in about 164.
And for my birthday tomorrow, me and my 13-yr-old son are doing the Burpee Mile.

Registered for a half marathon near the time when I started the MAP. Did it as a motivator to hold myself accountable for staying fit. After religious training plus P90x I ran it two weekends ago and finished - took about 2 1/2 hours but I ran the entire time with only a very short break at 10 miles to stretch. My wife was going to run it with me but droped out due to the logistics of what to do with our daughter that day.
Took a 1-week break from exercise after that to let my body recover. They just opened a really nice fitness center at my work so I've been going there twice a week and using the free weights - back to bench pressing, which I haven't done in about 5 years. Surprised that I was able to do 215lbs the first time. Up to 225 now. The trick is to build strength while being able to fit into my clothes. I don't want to get bulky but to keep the toned frame I have now. Have lost 3 pants sizes since starting the MAP, from a 36 to a 33, even though I've actually gained about 5 pounds. Now even the 33 is getting loose.
I do butt lifting exercises. Every day. I never take elevators and I walk whenever possible. If I can get somewhere in under half an hour on foot I never take the car.
Do facial exercises count, too?
That's it.
I did try running both alone and in a group, but found it dead boring. I tried a gym that focused on women (not for any particular reason, but that it was the nearest one). After half a year I stopped going there. I seem to get no satisfaction or fun out of sports whatsoever.
As I don't have to lose weight I find it hard to see the point of exercise. Nothing's flabby, I'm never sick, not out of breath when running after the tram or climbing stairs.
What do you get out of it? Apart from losing weight it seems some of you gain a lot from sports. How do you stay motivated?

What I don't have is muscle, that's clear - but really, there's not much flabbyness or slackness either.
I always think I should get into the routine of doing exercises before my metabolism slows down or gravity does its ugly work.
But apart from losing weight, so many people enjoy doing exercises. Or am I mistaken - is it just something you do grinding your teeth?

@RedPillWifey: You made me realize what the problem might be: In my case exercise would be mainly prophylactic - and that is too little motivation for lazy me. Sigh.
@fredless: I think there's Crossfit in Austria too. But it's DAMN expensive (probably not so in the States?)!

I've always thought that a coach would make all the difference. I'd need a personal one to kick my behind.
