Anyone else here listen to Trance/Progressive House music?
I listen to a very little bit of trance/chill music when I'm working, but those are less intense than house - the super fast stuff makes me twitchy. There are a couple of XM channels that have that kind of stuff, I think it's 50 is called Chill and there are a couple of others nearby.
@nubby I love those, that's my most favorite thing to listen to while I'm working

@Tennee holy cow - Cdr. Awesome is a huge fan. One of his relatives worked for them for a while as a roadie. I made huge points for finding everything I could by them and putting it on a CD, as his cassette tape had long since disintegrated.

@Angeline if you like chill and downtempo (and I do very much), try Groove Salad on Internet station somafm.com. A nice mix.
Time for my annual posting of the greatest Christmas song ever:
Mr. Chuck Berry's 'Run Rudolph, Run', as performed by Billy Gibbons (Gi-tar, ZZ Top), Dave Grohl (Hitting the skins - Foo Fighters, Nirvana) and Lemmy (DemiGod - Motorhead).
RIP Lemmy
"Fall down seven times, stand up eight" Japanese Proverb
Doing my prep work for Christmas dinner tomorrow - listening to various Christmas tunes. I've always liked this one, albeit some semi-melancholy lyrics. I do like this part a lot:
"I wish you a hopeful Christmas I wish you a brave new year All anguish, pain and sadness Leave your heart and let your road be clear"
Ive always liked the final line: "The Christmas we get we deserve" Indeed.
