LOL do you guys not have Amazon? Typical Amazon juxtaposition - mac and cheese, sexy shoes, home repair book, vacuum cleaner parts, sex lube, Mother's Day gift ideas. It's jarring and hilarious and occasionally uncomfortable. I can't look at Amazon at work anymore, because of the stuff that pops up on the screen.
As a matter of fact, I do, and so does my coworker who didn't believe me that Amazon sells 55 gallon barrels of lube.
agree with Angeline. You need to reduce the source of the humidity, not just dehumidify. In my continental climate, a basic rules for humidity is that there should be only a little condensation on (double pane) windows normally. Even now at -20f there's just a bit of ice at the bottom of my imo crappy windows. find out why so humid. unvented bathroom or bad bathroom fan? clothes dryer? out of control furnace humidifier? shut it off if you have one. Otoh, if you're in a normally humid place and this is the first cold snap, it might just be residual humidityHowlAtTheMoon said:All my Windows are covered in ice on the inside of the house. On most, the ice is covered in green and white mold. Our furnace does not have a humidity control dial or anything. Does every room need its own dehumidifier? Or just the moldy rooms?
Luckily, the rooms we sleep in have no mold.
Reminds me of dad's commute. He took county roads on a 20 mile drive in the morning and jokingly got irritated when there were other people on his road.forestleaf said:I get upset when I have to sit in traffic "downtown" for more than 30 seconds. I would never last in CA.
